You’ll Want A Bridal Shower Party Like This One
What Do You Do At A Bridal Shower?
A bridal shower party is one of my favorite events to go to! You’ll be hosting games, providing food, and watching the beautiful bride open her gifts. I was recently invited to the CUTEST bridal shower party, and I just had to share with you everything they did! The games, food, conversation was all amazing! I was beyond impressed with all of the effort put into the event, and I believe it’ll help inspire you when creating your own party!
The hostess of the event was extremely kind and gracious! The atmosphere she created was so welcoming and fun for all of her guests! The bride was absolutely stunning in her lovely dress, and it was an honor to be a part of her special day!
While I don’t share names for privacy reasons, I am honored to have the opportunity to share with you some bridal party inspo from the hostess, family members, and Bride-To-Be!

BRIDAL SHOWER PARTY COOKIES
Merging your desserts with your decorations is a phenomenal addition to consider for your bridal shower desserts! I tried these cookies they provided at the bride-to-be’s shower, and they were absolutely delicious! Not only were these cookies offered at the dessert section, but they laid them out throughout the room for as decor!
Two places I may suggest you get this style is by calling your local bakery or RollinDoughFL which is a bakery on Etsy that has five stars. They will ship beautifully decorated cookies to your doorstep!
BRIDAL SHOWER PARTY FOOD
I can’t rave about the food enough! The best combinations of savory and sweet! The hostess provided a wide variety of options as shown above and they were all so delicious. There were multiple options of quiches as well as a gluten free frittata.
A budget friendly option is to host a potluck where each guest can bring a dish they’re known for. Speaking with the hostess of this bridal shower, they explained how a few of the dishes provided were by the guests, and they used their appliances to keep the food warm. This really helps when you have a lot of guests to feed at an event.
BRIDAL SHOWER PARTY DRINKS
Isn’t this just the cutest drink section you’ve ever seen? You pour your flavor of choice and then add your favorite fruit to your drink! This is so lovely, I think it would be a great look to recreate for the next outdoor party!
BRIDAL SHOWER PARTY GAMES
Bridal Jeopardy Trivia
A bridal party jeopardy game is a fantastic way to get a big group of people invested in one activity! The Bride’s niece put this lovely board together out of cardboard! Honestly, it so well made it looks like she bought it from Hobby Lobby!!! The young lady inspired the aesthetic from the bride’s wedding colors and her game was a huge hit!! The categories were: Friends, wedding movies, groom, bride, and the happy couple! You’re guaranteed to have a great time with this idea!
Ring Hunt / Treasure Hunt
A treasure hunt game can really get guests super excited! Rings were hidden throughout the space, and you’d collect them as you ran across them. Whoever had the most rings won a prize. Honestly, the little rings were so pretty, some of the less competitive guests just wanted to wear them. lol
Guess The Kisses
A super cute game they staged ahead of time had the guests guessing how many kisses were in the jar. The frame by the vase is what really stood out to me as clever! This is not only an easy, fun game to include at your party, but it’s a classic that guests love to participate in! We were measuring the vase, and trying to Google how many pieces of candy are in a regular Kiss package. lol
BRIDAL SHOWER PARTY DRESS
The bride looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL in this elegant, white dress. The v-neckline and the bow styled in the front looked super cute! She rocked the bridal shower party in this outfit! If you’re trying to find a similar look, I find similar styles to help inspire you for finding your own look at your party!

Common Bridal Shower Party Questions
Who throws the bridal shower party?
Traditionally, it is the maid / matron of honor who will plan out the bridal party. It is an option for the maid of honor to plan the event alongside the mother of the bride or host the party alongside all of the bridesmaids. However, it is to be noted this wouldn’t be the tradition, so it would be within the maid of honors’ right to host the event if she so desired.
Who typically pays for the bridal shower party
Commonly it is believed to be the maid / maid of honor who pays for the bridal shower. However, more specifically it is the host of the event who funds the party. This clarification is important as sometimes it can be the bride’s relatives who plan and host the special occasion. As stated earlier, this isn’t a common tradition but has been done more in modern day. Therefore, if relatives are planning the event, then the responsibility to pay would no longer fall on the maid of honor.
What is the meaning of the bridal shower party? How is it different from a bachelorette party?
The literal definition of a bridal shower is – “a party, held for a woman before her wedding, to which her friends and family (typically female) bring gifts.” This type of party allows the bride to celebrate with all of her female family, friends, and extended relatives. The guests will bring gifts for the bride-to-be to open at the party. However, a bachelorette party is reserved for the bridal party such as maid of honor and bridesmaids. The bride may also choose to extend the invite list to female individuals outside of her bridal party.
