She has a history of working with fundraisers and charities, which makes her the hostess to take notes from!

Graduation Audio Guestbook

Stephanie isn’t just about hosting a party; she’s focused on making memories for her daughter with the friends and family who watched her grow up. Which is why when her daughter Kenley approached her about this audio guestbook telephone that would capture people’s messages to her, Stephanie was compelled to get it! The messages can be played back on the phone and can also be transferred to a computer for later use!

Graduation Signing Book
Enlist your creative and talented friends! Stephanie purchased a signing book with a simple brown cover, and had her friend designed and tailored the cover to match Kenley’s aesthetic!
Graduation Signs & Planning in Advance
When speaking with Stephanie, she put a big emphasis on planning your event way in advance and this gives you ample time to watch out for sales! She highlighted Michaels, Walgreens, and CVS for having the best weekly deals on various products such as photos to print for your event. Her welcome sign, invitations, and dessert sign were all purchased at Art Home Boutique on Etsy.
Graduation Photo Booth

A memorabilia table is a wonderful way to showcase your grad’s achievements as well as which college they will be attending! Stephanie purchased the custom wooden grad signs from Katie Edwards at A Touch Of Paradise! This is not only a create decoration idea for your memorabilia table, but a piece your child (or you) can keep as a souvenir from the party. 💕

Graduation Party Activities
Hosting during the heat of summer graduation? Don’t let the sun keep your party from being a hit! Stephanie was smart in choosing activities that allowed her guests to cool off! An inflatable slide was the perfect activity to keep her guests cool and entertained! 🌞🌊
Stephanie explained:
“We were fortunate enough to be able to have the party in our backyard. In Texas, May is HOT. We ate and took pictures. After that everyone changed into bathing suits and got into the pool as well as went on the waterslide we rented. My 74-year-old Momma went down that waterslide! lol”
Graduation Party Centerpieces
We are OBSESSED with these beautiful centerpieces!!! The flowers on the photo booth as well as these gorgeous centerpieces were created by HHS Maroon Bloom.
This program is through Stephanie’s local high school and involves students learning how to put together flower arrangements. She shared with them the color and style she was hoping for, and they provided the arrangements at an affordable price. We suggest you check to see if your local high school has a similar program.
Graduation Party Drink Station
This drink station is adorable with Kenley’s childhood photos mixed in alongside her graduation pictures! I’m in love with the aesthetic of the wicker basket to hold the dispenser as well as ice bucket. However, what I cannot get over is the white party cups! Look at the grad stickers Stephanie put on them! 😍
Stephanie designed the cups in Canva and had them printed at Office Depot! You can find the Avery round labels she used for her design in the link above. ❤️
Graduation Food Ideas

For Stephanie, the biggest expense was between the food and the dessert. The celebration of approximately 70 + guests, she kept the catering both beautiful and budget conscious. Her friend who owns a charming tearoom restaurant prepared an assortment of chicken salad sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, Italian sliders, pinwheels, and asparagus wraps for about $500…
Stephanie supplemented the menu with additional appetizers and dips, many of which she made herself or purchased from Sam’s Club.
Grad Party Dessert Inspo
The dessert section is always a guest favorite! Decorative cookies and color-themed desserts is a wonderful way to coordinate with your decorations! This writer loves the added detail of custom cupcake toppers with the graduate’s face! You can get your own at Etsy by PartySparkleCo here.
The dessert table featured homemade cupcakes and Stephanie’s own cookie dough dip, while a friend contributed delicious lemon bars and cake pops. The custom cookies completed the spread and added to the aesthetic of the party! Altogether, food and dessert came to approximately $1,000 for more than 70 people which comes out to around $14 a person.
Hire A Photographer

“Hire a photographer—either a professional or a designated person to walk around and take pictures for you. You’ll get busy and forget to take photos. Haley also made sure to get a picture of each guest with my daughter, too.”

She’s already on her way at Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, as she pursues a degree in Psychology. Thanks to the remarkable number of college credits, she earned before arriving on campus, she’ll enter with junior standing—an accomplishment that speaks volumes about her dedication and hard work.
