Saint Patrick’s Day Dessert Inspo

When you’re laying out the menu for Saint Patrick’s day, we encourage you to focus on foods with greener tones. This is going to emphasize the green in all the decorations you put out for the holiday and add to the overall theme! Artichoke dip with toasted bread is a great example of how you can add color themed food that is also super delicious.

Looking for some easy snacks that don’t involve a ton of prework? This is probably one of the easiest grabs you can include on the menu without the extra labor. Grapes and sliced green apples laid out on a long tray as well as store bought cupcakes! Around St. Patrick’s day your local grocery store will have cupcakes decorated on theme to the holiday! Now with every party you have to have the main meal that fills everyone’s belly! These wings were INCREDIBLE! I miss them so much and I wish I knew the caterer or the recipe they used! You can check your local grocery store or make a large order at Buffalo Wild Wings to get the same affect. Honestly my husband and I struggled to get seconds because these wings were so popular! Buffalo wings a your typical crowd pleaser!

Now the jalapeno poppers at this party were to die for, and this sent my husband and I on a jalapeno popper journey to find the perfect side dish. This is what we’ve learned: Costco’s jalapeno poppers were too spicey and didn’t have enough cream cheese. We served them for Christmas dinner, and no one wanted seconds and complained about the combination being off. Either we suggest you make your own jalapeno poppers (add a sprinkle of pepper for texture and taste) or go to your local grocery store and buy freshly made poppers. We learned the hard way frozen poppers just don’t deliver the same affect.

Chips and dip is enough to satisfy any grazing munchies for your guests as they wait for the buffalo wings to come out! Simple and easy guacamole and sour cream dip mix! A dip mix to combine with your sour cream is the Laura’s Scudder green onion mix! This stuff is incredible, and we bring it out for almost all our big holiday events! Cookies for the kiddos! All the adults, of course. 😉 M&M cookies are so great! I do recommend you offer chocolate chip and macadamia nut for people you want desire other flavors, but these cookies stayed on theme for Saint Patrick’s day and did not disappoint!

I never tried the green drink served at the party, but I was entirely impressed at how extra this was of the Le Mirage team!!! Considering I never got to find out what drink combination they made, I instead found you a green lemonade recipe by The Gracious Pantry.

Le Mirage is the best apartment complex in Texas! I could go as far as to say they’re the best in country based on all my experiences before! If you live in the Midland, Texas area you have to check them out! They’re a little oasis in the dessert and they made our time in Midland a good one to remember! Anyone who lives in Midland knows the area is not the nicest, so to have such a great place like Le Mirage to come home to was a real gift to have!
