This post is all about fall porch decor
How To Decorate for A Fall Front Porch?
Before you begin decorating, you’ll want to pick a theme. Yes, fall is the overarching theme, but what kind of vibe are you going for? And answering ‘fall vibe’ is cheating! lol Below are a few theme ideas you can consider when decorating you front porch.
- Country – Hay barrels / plaid colors / vintage farming equipment and rustic decor.
- Elegant / White, black, & beige tones / minimalistic decor.
- Cozy Fall – Similar to country, but without the farming equipment and rustic look. Focuses more on the bright colors and an abundance of pumpkins, cozy blankets, and signs that read ‘fall vibes’. You might see more decorations involving cherry, red trucks carrying pumpkins in this style.
Whatever theme you land on, you can begin shopping for items that match your aesthetic. Just strive to avoid intermixing a few different themes together as it can look very cluttered to the eye.
My mom was aiming for cozy fall when creating a fall front porch. If you want links to any of the items below, just write “links” in the comment section below.
Add Lanterns for an Evening Glow
These battery-operated lanterns have a lovely cutout of a leaf with red and yellow color tones. She matched them alongside a similar light green lantern, and this makes her porch stand out even at night.
Use A Garland to Frame Your Front Porch
If you feel like the cozy vibes to your fall front porch is missing something, then consider a garland to hang over the top. The festive garland can act as a picture frame to tie everything together!
